After Three Agencies, an Install Company Went From 38 to 250 Conversions a Month

An established installer selling a big-ticket project to homeowners and businesses. Three previous SEO agencies hadn't moved the numbers. A technical cleanup and a long-form content plan did.

The challenge

The site worked, but our audit found thousands of outdated backlinks doing nothing, slow load times, no long-form content for Google to rank, low-value keywords, and missing local pages. Previous agencies had produced work without fixing the foundation.

What we did

  • Removed outdated backlinks and replaced them with a smaller set of authoritative ones
  • Fixed speed and on-page issues and updated every title and tag
  • Built a long-form content plan from scratch and reworked existing pages around high-value keywords
  • Added the local pages that had been missing
  • Set up analytics to track calls and form submissions

The results

Between January 2020 and May 2021, monthly conversions grew from 38 to 250, about 6.6 times the starting point. New users grew from 517 to 1,552 a month. The site came to rank for broad, competitive terms such as "turf" and "artificial grass," each searched tens of thousands of times a month.

What this means for an HVAC shop

System replacements behave like this business: a big-ticket purchase, researched for weeks, with a few companies compared. Long-form cost and comparison content, real local pages and a clean technical base are what win those buyers, and they compound. If you've been through agencies that sent reports but no estimates, the fix is usually in the foundation.
